Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should include:

  1. Title
  2. Authors
  3. Affiliation (Institution, Department) and email of the presenting author
  4. Maximum character limit (body of the abstract): 2,500. Spaces are not counted.

 

Required format for abstract submission:

  • The conference language will be English
  • Use Times New Roman font in 12 point and 1.5 spacing, with the title underlined
  • Abstracts must be properly formatted and organized into four sections identified by the following bolded headers: Purpose/Objectives, Materials/Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  • Institution names should not be included in the title or body of the abstract in order to keep the review process blind, fair and objective. Alternative language is “at one institution,” or “a multi-institution” study, etc.
  • The abstract cannot contain illustrations, images or graphs. If the abstract is accepted, presenters can include these items in their on-site presentations.

Abstracts will be selected for oral presentation

The space available for oral presentations is limited.

Oral presentations should be 15 minutes in total (12 minutes presentation plus 3 minutes for questions)
